Overall Role Objectives

As a Telesales Marketing Representative in the new business development industry, your primary responsibility will be to generate leads, build relationships, and close sales through telephone calls. You will be working closely with potential clients, promoting business, and assisting in making informed decisions regarding their new business investments.

Key Performance Indicators / Responsibilities & Expected Results

Lead Generation: Conduct proactive outbound calls to potential clients and follow up on leads generated through various marketing channels, such as online platforms, referrals, and direct marketing campaigns.

Client Engagement: Engage potential clients in meaningful conversations to understand their new business needs, preferences, and financial capabilities. Provide them with relevant information about available properties, market trends, and investment opportunities.

Relationship Building: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients by maintaining regular contact and providing ongoing support. Stay updated with clients’ changing needs and preferences to offer personalized solutions and maintain high client satisfaction levels.

Sales Presentation: Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and value propositions to potential buyers. Deliver persuasive sales presentations over the phone, addressing client concerns and objections to facilitate the sales process.

Sales Negotiation: Negotiate and finalize deals, including giving necessary information related to Taxation, contract terms, and financing options. Collaborate with clients, agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions and satisfactory outcomes for all parties involved.

Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, interactions, and sales activities in the company’s customer relationship management (CRM) system. Utilize CRM tools to track leads, monitor deals progress, and generate reports for management review.

Market Research: Stay informed about the market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Conduct market research to identify potential target segments, emerging opportunities, and strategies to gain a competitive edge.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other sales and marketing team members, agents to align strategies, share market insights, and leverage new business set up opportunities.

Required Specific Knowledge, Skills & Tools
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in telesales, preferably in the same industry or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to close sales and overcome objections.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track progress, and generate reports.
  • Results-oriented mind-set with a drive to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address client concerns and provide suitable solutions.
